Independent app studio
Thoughtful apps for everyday life
Phillan Limited creates consumer apps for iOS and Android that help people feel more at home in their everyday routines.
Phillan Limited is an independent app studio, privately owned and registered in Hong Kong SAR. We make consumer software for the everyday things that deserve a little more care.
Our vision is a more personal kind of software: apps that adapt to the people using them, rather than asking people to adapt to the app.
Our mission is to make thoughtful tools that give people more control over their time, choices and data. Privacy is part of the product, not something added later.
We are beginning with MacroMirror, a nutrition tracker, and EasyCalendar, a flexible calendar for people who work across time zones. Both are in development.
Good software should leave you feeling more in control, never less.

Development build
Built around you, not your data
We make apps for the people who use them, not for advertising systems. We do not sell personal data or use it to target advertising.
Your diary, your calendar and your choices are personal. They stay under your control, and anything encrypted between your own devices cannot be read by us.
When our apps launch, subscriptions will support their ongoing development. That keeps our attention where it belongs: on making them better for you.
A focused studio with a long view
Phillan is founded and run by Philip Lange, who designs and builds both applications. His background spans product launches, innovation work and building useful internal tools for teams across the Asia-Pacific region.
We are deliberately focused on two products. Keeping the scope small gives us room to get the details right, listen closely and make decisions that serve the people who use the apps.
MacroMirror starts from the idea that a tracker should meet you where you are. EasyCalendar starts from the belief that your calendar should move with your life, not ask you to rearrange it.
